Early morning – Almonds soaked in water to the skin (8 – 12 count), Walnut soaked in water 3 – 6 count.
Before breakfast – pepper, turmeric, ginger whipped milk.
Breakfast – Idli, uppuma, talia, tokla, egg, kadamba sambar, non-spicy mint or coriander chutney which are easily digestible.
After breakfast – home-cooked drumstick spinach soup, tomato soup or something vegetable soup.
Before lunch – beetroot and gooseberry juice (50 – 100 ml) without sweeteners or guava, orange, capsicum, pine apple salad
Lunch – a little rice, broth, tomato lentils, kichadi, low-fat yogurt rice (it is better to cook the rice in vegetable boiled water)
Evening – Black Chickpeas, Rajma Chives, Lemon Juice, Peanut Butter, Ellurundai, Green Tea, Ginger Tea, Tulsi Tea
Dinner – Chapati, Wheat Dosa, Idli, Kadamba Sambar, Mint Chutney, Coriander Chutney
After dinner – 1 – 2 slices of dark chocolate with nuts
Before going to bed – again pepper, turmeric, ginger whipped milk
Generally, it is good for our gut to eat foods like apples, oats, onions and wheat at some point in the day.
Take home-cooked foods and avoid processed foods and foods high in sugar, salt, and bad fats.
Foods provided to patients in the hospital:
The first meal is served at 7 o’clock with 200 ml of boiled water with lemon peel. Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. with 2 itli, 150g semolina kichadi or samiya kichadi or samba wheat semolina kichadi and sambar tomato onion chutney, 2 boiled eggs, 200 ml milk.
Then at 10 a.m. Sathukkudi juice, at 11 a.m. Ginger peeled lemon with boiled water, 100 g pepper mixed cucumber. At 1pm 2 chapatis, 1 cup vegetable rice or mint rice or veg fried rice and lettuce, vegetable engineering, broth, 50g peanuts are served.
Hot water mixed with pepper with turmeric at 3 pm, soup mixed with chilli at 5 pm, boiled tofu and pepper are served. 7pm is 2 chapatis or itli, semolina kichadi, veg curry, tomato, onion chutney, milk. Boiled water with lemon with ginger peel at 9pm, hot water mixed with turmeric and pepper at 11pm is served.
