Scientists in the United States and Australia have announced the discovery of a new drug that is 99.9 percent effective against the corona virus.
There is no direct cure for corona virus infection. To control its effects, drugs such as Damiflu and Remdecivir, which were previously used against the virus, have been used. In addition, the administration of steroid drugs to treat pneumonia is having a different effect.
Various vaccines are currently in use against the corona virus. But, they are all tested in the elderly and are 70 to 90 percent effective. Many people who have been vaccinated with the currently circulating vaccine have contracted the corona infection. Governments say many of them died but not due to corona.
Scientists in the United States and Australia have jointly developed a new corona drug called siRNA (small-interfering RNA). This drug directly attacks the gene of the corona germ and stops it from multiplying. These act up to 99.9 percent against germs and destroy them. Patients may need to inject this drug for five days.
Current studies in animals have confirmed that the drug kills up to 99.9 percent of the virus. The drug will soon be tested in humans. It is questionable whether it will come when paid to humans as it came with a 99 percent positive result when paid to animals. However, the results will be known only if the test. Scientists say it will not be harmful to humans and will be allowed for treatment after it is determined that the infection will go away.
Massive casualties can be avoided by conducting tests quickly and bringing people to use.
