Recently, when three big Bollywood stars appeared in the advertisement of a tobacco brand, there was a lot of ruckus. The biggest controversy was over the appearance of Akshay Kumar in this ad. After tremendous trolling, Akshay Kumar apologized and decided to back out from the ad. Now news has come that a pan masala brand has approached KGF 2 star Yash. But the Kannada actor refused to add this.
According to the report, Yash was offered crores by the Pan Masala brand for an endorsement. But the KGF 2 star immediately turned down this ad without delay. The news has been confirmed by Exceed Entertainment, the company that manages Yash’s endorsement deals. Its head Arjun Banerjee issued a press statement and wrote – Pan masala and such products have a bad effect on the health of the people. Its effect can be fatal. In fact, this is a heroic decision taken by Yash, who refused to do a very tempting deal in the interest of fans and his followers.
“Given our pan India appeal, we want to use this opportunity to send the right message to our fans and followers. Wants to spend our time and effort on brands that have discretion, who want to play the long game, are like-minded, like Yash himself.” has been appreciated by the people.
Earlier, Pushpa star Allu Arjun had also refused to associate with the tobacco brand. Allu was also offered a hefty fee for this endorsement. But Allu had turned down this lucrative offer due to the thought of not giving the wrong message to the fans. On the one hand, while the big stars of Bollywood are joining the tobacco brand without delay, the distance of South stars from them is impressing the people.
